Question: student looking for people to answer survey?
Student looking for people to answer survey!?
Hi! I’m a (vegan) graphic design student looking to do some “market research” for a project in which I have to design an identity for a restaurant. If anyone would be willing to fill out my survey I’d be super grateful, it’s very quick and simple:

If you’re not keen to do that, I’d really appreciate any imput regarding your motives for being a vegan and the restaurants/cafes that you like.
Cheers guys
(And many, many thanks to those who have already done it!)

Thanks everyone, you’ve been a great help.
Re the rockabilly option, I popped that down there because I know a few rockabilly derby girl vegans
Re the Body Shop, handy to know, thank you. I don’t shop there, I prefer Lush, but was somehow under the impression that it was at least vegetarian friendly. Perhaps once upon a time, when I was growing up …

cici: Yes, I get to ‘create’ a vegan restaurant for this project – very fun! Though what I will be marked on is (primarily) my ability to successfully brand and promote the restaurant, to make it appealing to potential customers.

I like hearty meals. I don’t care much for plain lettuce or even salads with lots of dressing. To me, that is a snack at best. I like larger meals. Breading soy to make dippers or potato wedges with soy cheese and bbq sauce are great ideas for a restaraunt. Things like Rice Dream should be available and also chocolate almond milk or alternative. Vegan mexican food could be easy for a restaraunt with vegan cheeses. Pizzas, pastas and even sandwhiches would be all good. Could you open one up where I live?? : / Oh yea also great fruit drinks would be great! The ones without corn syrup as the main ingridient : ?

Keynote Speaker Greta Christina discusses what the atheist movement learn from the LGBT movement? The atheist movement is already modeling itself on the LGBT movement in many ways: most obviously with its focus on coming out of the closet. What else can the Atheist movement learn from the LGBT movement both from its successes and its failures? For those who have heard Greta Christina speak at SSA conferences in the past: this is a longer, significantly more fleshed-out version of the talk she gave at both Stanford and Harvard. In this talk, Greta discusses coming out; making atheism a safe place to come out into; defusing the ongoing battles between the firebrands and the diplomats in our movement; avoiding squabbles about language and self-definition; making our movement more diverse; preparing for success and the mainstreaming that will almost certainly accompany it; and other lessons that can be learned from the history of the LGBT movement.
Chapter 14 (Assets & Demographics – Part 2 of 2): Having examined our nations current, never-before-seen level of debt, as well as our failure to save, we now move on to look at our assets. Key Concept 8 is introduced, that debts are fixed, but assets are variable, sometimes gaining and sometimes losing. Dr. Martenson examines Americas assets, especially in light of our current demographic situation. The effect of the baby boomer generation is specifically considered, with the conclusion that the next 20 years are going to be completely unlike the last twenty years. www.chrismartenson.com
